Power and Performance
One thing's for sure: Ford Mustang drivers crave speed. If you want to really zip around town, you need to check out the 2016 Ford Mustang. One of the best things about shopping for a new Mustang is that you get to tailor your experience. That means choosing between three awesome engines for the one that best floats your boat.
Our favorite is the EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. There's nothing else like it on the road, because it's both sporty and fuel-efficient. With 310 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque, it's nearly as powerful as the 2010 Mustang's V8 engine. However, it gets way better fuel mileage, earning up to 22 city/31 highway mpg. (The best the 2010 Mustang could do was 16/24 mpg - and that was with the V6. The V8 was even thirstier, with EPA ratings of up to 15/23 mpg.)
When you're shopping for a Mustang, the V8 engine is always a must-see. For 2016, the V8 is truly inspiring. The 2016 Mustang GT zooms ahead with 435 horses and 400 pound-feet of torque. It also makes the most of your gas tank, with up to 16/25 mpg. The used 2010 Ford Mustang GT only offered 315 horses and 325 pound-feet of torque. As you can see, the modern V8 has improved quite a lot!
Modern Comfort
Over the years, the Ford Mustang cockpit has only gotten better. You guessed it - the 2016 Ford Mustang cabin offers increased refinement and max comfort. It's also stocked with all the latest infotainment features - like the all-new Sync 3 system - so you can keep up with friends and family with hands-free calls and texts. The new Ford Mustang even offers expanded cargo space, making it easier to transport everyday items like shopping bags and sports gear.
