2019 Ford Fusion Trims & Options
The Ford Fusion is stylish and practical, giving drivers a new take on an old standard: the four-door sedan. You may think "sedan" equals "boring," but Ford has busted that stereotype wide open. With three different engine options and technology that puts you at the cutting edge, the 2019 Ford Fusion gives you what you need and what you never knew you needed. But which trim is right for you? Obviously, if you're looking to make a substantial difference in your carbon footprint, you'll want to look closely at the standard or plug-in hybrid options. But what about the five standard trims? Let's walk through them.
Ford Fusion S
We'll start things off nice and slow with the standard model, the Ford Fusion S. The base engine is a decent 173-horsepower four-cylinder. You'll find this engine is good at getting you to work or school and back, but it isn't built to impress. The engine comes with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Standard features include things like: push-button start, Ford MyKey, four-speaker stereo system, voice-activated SYNC, rearview camera, and active safety features like lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, and automatic emergency braking. There is no available all-wheel drive on this trim.
Ford Fusion SE
Starting at $24,120, the Fusion SE gives you a sportier engine with the 181-horsepower turbo-4 EcoBoost. This one goes zero to 60 in 8.9 seconds. Now the optional SYNC 3 system comes standard, plus power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, six-speaker audio system, satellite radio, and Wi-Fi hotspot. The Fusion SE is the king of package options. The SE Appearance Package takes the Fusion SE's look to a new level with larger black wheels, halogen lamps, rear spoiler and upholstery stitching. The All-Wheel Drive Package winterizes your car with AWD, heated front seats and side mirrors, and more. The Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist adds cruise control, stop-and-go, and voice-activated Navigation.
Ford Fusion SEL & Titanium
The mid-tier SEL trim level is back for 2019! This trim is all about comfort, adding partial leather upholstery, heated front seats, and remote start to the Fusion's SE list of standard features. A power moonroof, not available on the S or SE trim levels, is the only notable optional feature. The SEL starts at $28,580. Starting at $34,340, the Titanium trim throws in the power moonroof standard, along with LED fog lights, ventilated front sport seats, heated steering wheel, 12-speaker Sony audio system, HD Radio, rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and voice-activated navigation. The engine gets a significant upgrade to the 245-horsepower 2-liter EcoBoost I-4. All-wheel drive is available.
Ford Fusion V6 Sport
If you want a sporty joyride over a commuter car, the V6 Sport is where you live. This performance-oriented trim level starts at $40,015 and comes standard with a 325-horsepower turbocharged V6 engine and all-wheel drive. The engine is this trim's claim to fame. Besides that, there's unique badging, extra noise dampening to drown out the sound of your powerful engine, and some impressive exterior styling. Otherwise, the V6 Sport is basically the Titanium trim level, with the same standard features that you'll find on the Titanium trim.
