2019 Ford Transit Connect Trims and Options
No matter what your business, you can choose from a variety of 2019 Ford Transit Connect trims and options to configure the van that speaks to your unique mobile needs.
2019 Transit Connect Configurations
There are essentially two types of Transit Connect: the Cargo Van and the Wagon. And they're exactly what they sound like, a commercial van for transporting cargo and a commercial van for transporting passengers. (Though, alternatively, the Wagon can be a budget-friendly way to transport your big family or sports club.)
Both the Cargo Van and Wagon offer two wheelbase options: short and long. The latter increases interior space, giving you more room to haul company cargo or your favorite people. From there, you can choose from three trim levels: XL, XLT, and Titanium. Below, we give you the rundown on each.
2019 Ford Transit Connect XL
The entry-level XL is the least expensive of the bunch, and it's available as both a Cargo Van and Wagon. For 2019, the XL introduces standard Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection. Besides warning you of imminent danger, this technology can automatically hit the brakes on your behalf. It's got the potential to curtail damages and save lives. The FordPass Connect Wi-Fi hotspot comes in handy when you've got to get a little work done from the road. You can even connect up to 10 devices, so passengers can stay busy on the go. The connection is strong, even up to 50 feet away from your Transit Connect.
The XL Wagon adds some extra features for your comfort and travel enjoyment. In addition to second- and third-row seats, the Wagon features rear climate controls and second-row power windows. On long trips, its driver lumbar adjustments are your best friend.
2019 Ford Transit Connect XLT
With cloth upholstery and carpeted floor coverings, the XLT has a homey vibe. There's even a rear privacy glass. If you're looking for a budget-friendly replacement for the family minivan, start here. The XLT's multifunction driver display helps you keep track of vital driving stats. This van also has some visibility boosters, namely, fog lights and power-adjustable heated mirrors. Features like automatic wipers and a power-adjustable driver seat make it easy to get through a day of driving. Extras like the rearview camera and auto-dimming rearview mirror help you get your bearings. With the XLT, you can add Ford's Sync 3 infotainment system to your 2019 Ford Transit Connect. The system is very street-savvy, with handy voice controls and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto tech to link up your smartphone.
There's also an available wireless charging pad. We all need to recharge our beloved devices throughout the day. The pad just makes doing so simpler.
2019 Ford Transit Connect Titanium
Available as a Wagon only, the 2019 Ford Transit Connect Titanium is loaded with features to help you and your clients or family members live the high life. It's got heated front seats, leather upholstery, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Titanium is more than comfortable; it's pretty lavish. This passenger van also comes standard with the Sync 3 infotainment interface. Sync 3 makes it easy to use your smartphone, which you can even do with both hands on the steering wheel, thanks to its handy voice controls. The Titanium even dresses up your ride a bit, with chrome exterior trim and 16-inch alloy wheels.
