- Just when you thought high-speed off-roading couldn’t get better, along comes the all-new Bronco Stroppe Edition.
- With its newfound tech upgrades, the modern Bronco is smarter than ever.
- Thanks to the Base model’s resurgence, the price of the 2025 Bronco (starting at $37,995) has gone down compared to the 2024 Bronco (from $39,630).
Sporty Good Looks
For 2025, the Bronco’s Big Bend trim model is available with a stylish new appearance package known as Free Wheeling. Like an extravagant peacock, it’s the ultimate attention-grabber. Add this package to your Bronco for sunset-colored side stripes (which also happen to be stitched into the seatbacks) and little pops of red in the grill and wheels! If you’re shopping for both style and extra-rugged substance, consider also adding the Sasquatch Package to your Bronco Big Bend. With its upgraded Bilstein shocks, mud-terrain tires, high-clearance fenders and more, the Sasquatch Package will have your SUV rolling deeper into the wild!
New Ways to Tear up the Trail
The All-New Stroppe Edition
For 2025, the Bronco wheels out an all-new trim model! The Stroppe Edition is based on the original 1971 Baja Bronco, the desert-racing SUV designed by Bill Stroppe. With its stunning multi-colored exterior and high-speed off-road capabilities, the Stroppe Edition is part thoroughbred and part wild bronco!
Engine Options: 2024 vs. 2025 Bronco
Compared to the previous SUV, engine availability has changed for the 2025 Ford Bronco. Although both model years offer the same three engine options, more of the 2025 Bronco trims come standard with the base 300-horsepower EcoBoost engine. Instead of offering the 2.7-liter V6 as an option, the 2025 Bronco makes this engine standard for the Stroppe Edition (and otherwise unavailable).
With the 2024 Ford Bronco, on the other hand, the 2.7-liter V6 is standard on the Wildtrak and Heritage Limited Edition trims. And although the Black Diamond, Heritage Edition, and Badlands models come standard with the base engine, they’re available with the 2.7-liter V6 as an option. For both model years, the king-of-the-trail Bronco Raptor tours mountain terrain thanks to an exclusive turbocharged V6 (good for 418 horses)!
2024 and 2025 Ford Bronco Powertrain Options
- Standard 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder engine (300 hp, 325 lb-ft) with seven-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission
- Available 2.7L turbo V6 (330 hp, 415 lb-ft) and 10-speed automatic
- Raptor-specific 3.0L turbo V6 (418 hp, 440 lb-ft) and 10-speed automatic
New Features
Outside of the flashy new Free Wheeling package and Stroppe Edition, the 2025 Ford Bronco also introduces a new, more streamlined, list of trim models. The Base model returns to the lineup, giving shoppers an inexpensive way to hit the trail in earnest. All in all, shoppers can choose from seven trim models: Base, Big Bend, Heritage Edition, Outer Banks, Badlands, Stroppe Edition, and Raptor. By comparison, the 2024 Bronco is available as nine trims, adding the Black Diamond, Everglades, and Wildtrak to the previous list while dropping the Base and Stroppe Edition.
For 2024, the Bronco’s 12-inch infotainment touchscreen became standard equipment. And when the Bronco reintroduced the Base model for 2025, this infotainment setup remained on the list of standard features. You’ll also find wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity on the Base Bronco. The 2024 Bronco also made a heavy-duty bumper standard on its extra-rugged Badlands trim, another feature that carries over to the new model year.
Bronco MSRP
Now that the Base trim model is available again, the 2025 Ford Bronco (starting at $37,995) is now more affordable than last year. Of course, the 2024 Ford Bronco’s $39,630 MSRP isn’t much more expensive!
